First off, I know. This post title is a bit cheesy, but I do think C. Wonder is wonderful! Their preppy, whimsical stores have been opened for almost a year now and I recently ventured into one for the first time this August. I'm sure most of you know the juicy backstory here, but for those of you who don't, I'll fill you in. Before I do, let me just say, that I am not taking sides here - I think both brands are great! So, C. Wonder was founded by Chris Burch. Does that last name ring a bell? Of course it does - Tory Burch. Any relation you ask? He's Tory's ex-husband.... or she's Chris' ex-wife. Whatever! Anyway, C. Burch opened C. Wonder shortly after the divorce and some say that C. Wonder is well, a bit Tory Burch-esque, but at lower price points. No comment. One thing I do have to say is some of my favorite C. Wonder things are actually home goods, not clothes - a market Tory has yet to really tap (as far as I know). Anyway, I'll stop being such a gossip! On to the store!
This store is located on Main Street in Southampton. I wanted to hop on one of the beach cruisers parked outside of the entrance! (Side note: HX (my sis-in-law) and I just got very excited, because as I type, my family decided to buy a couple more bikes for the house - at least one will be a beach cruiser with a basket! Great minds think/want alike! Biking is one of my favorite summer activities - makes me feel like a total kid!
So, for a second here, I was upset. Last time I was in the store this spot was home to free candy jars and they had my old-school favorite, Jujubees! But, really, how cool is this Vespa?
The entrance to the store.
Lots of cute monograms. These would make a great gift!
They have some pretty cool styles!
Here's a C.Wonder bag HX received as a gift!
The store sold some great coffee table books - this one is on my wish list. One of my favorite apartments featured? Tory Burch's.
I've long wanted an Hermes "H" belt. These, are the same idea, but you can pick your own letter. Here they are in tortoise.
And here in gold!
They sell a bunch of reversible belts to go along with the buckles. My favorite was orange and brown. This red is pretty cool too.
More in-store displays.
I love the paddles on the wall and these geoprint shirts.
This is great with white jeans for a casual look, and I think you could also tuck it in with pants or a skirt for the office.
I don't think there is a need to explain my love here.
I love all of the tortoise tabletop items. Including this tumbler.
What do you think of C. Wonder? Do you love it? Does it remind you of Tory? Check out the C. Wonder website for more goodies!
