1. Fresh Polish - Chipped, bitten nails can drive me crazy when I am staring at my keyboard and marking up paper all day (and night) long. Getting a manicure or doing my nails not only relaxes me, but makes me happier for days to come. (At the very least, I take the time to remove any old polish and clean them up a bit.) I just discovered an amazing red called Academy Award by Barielle.
2. Illy Caffe - These little cans have become part of my morning ritual of late. I keep a ton in my fridge and grab them as I am walking out the door in the morning. I prefer the regular to the no sugar - no surprise, it tastes better - but, if its a two caffe kind of day, I'll make my #2 a no sugar.
3. Trader Joe's Happy Trekking Trail Mix - This is absolutely the most delicious trail mix ever. It has all my favorite nuts (even out-of-shell pistachios!), chocolate, dried cherries - YUM! I keep some in a plastic bag in my purse when I am really busy. Trail mix is great energy food and will tide you over if you're late to your next meal, because you're finishing up a project.
4. Fresh Flowers - Because when you work hard, you deserve them!
